On each side at the end is what looks like a red hut in the typical Swedish style, but is in fact covering the mechanism for the gate.

A photo of a look down a Berlin street with the tall spire of the Fernsehturm TV tower at the end of it. The tower is a giant concrete needle like structure with a ball on it about two thirds of the way up. The road is lined with tall buildings on both sides, and has two pairs of tram lines leading along it towards the distant tower, and an SUV is just pulling into the street ahead of us.
