Initially the set of photos in this zine, taken mostly over 2021, look like they have no defining reason: pictures of family members, remote places, some colour here, some black and white there, some digital, some film. But behind it all there is, to me, a common thread: the slow re-entrance into the world after the long pandemic lockdown periods. Going back into the world after not being able to travel or to meet friends was both a wonderful treat, but also somewhat filled with trepidation: are we actually safe to do this yet?
