So, in order to solder I think it should be done before I’ve had two cups of coffee, and preferably when I was awake to start with. Fine grain soldering and shaky hands aren’t a match – they just lead to me getting frustrated. Practice would probably help – years since I had to solder much. Also, as embarrasing as it is, I should probably use an alice band, as my hair kept getting in the way.

And all I bloody soldered was this, and this was my second attempt after I melted the connector head on the first attempt…

The shame! And to think I used to be an EE student, sigh. I’ve got a load more to do at some point, perhaps I’ll regain some ability by then…
