QUIDS in Space!

6 Oct 2007

I didn’t realise it was April 1st already, but currency exchange company Travelex has invented the QUID – “a currency for use in space”.

The QUID is a Quasi Universal Intergalactic Denomination, designed to have no nasty sharp edges for use in zero gravity. Currently 1 QUID is worth just over £6 apparently. As Laura points out, surely we’ll have electronic money by the time we move into space?
