Quite an old album this, but I’ve only recently got around to listening to it. Jeff Buckley, son of Tim Buckley, produced very little before his untimely death, but still managed to create a classic album in Grace, which seems to be recommended by everyone that listens to it. Grace is a mixture of emotional, melodic songs (his cover of Lenerd Cohen’s Hallelujah is amazing), and rock songs (think perhaps Radiohead around the times of the bends, althought Eternal Life reminds me of Reef). He even does a carol, which may sound twee, but thanks to his voice and the way it’s produced fits in well. Definitely something to give a try.
