Solstice hill walk time
In my life I have only ever walked up two Munros (a Munro is a Scottish hill over 3000 ft tall), and I’ve never done it in day light :) Each year a group of people from the Computing Science department here walk up Ben Lomond to see sunrise on the longest day of summer. We start walking up the hill around midnight, get up there for around four am, and then fail to see the sunrise due to low cloud (at least the two times I’ve done it that has been the case :), but it’s all good fun. So, if you fancy being cold, wet, tired, in pain, and atop a large hill on the morning of the 21st, you’re more than welcome to join us.
