(Dear me, found this in my drafts folder. Let’s pretend it’s late September still…) The most interesting car park Chichester, United Kingdom11 September 2015 Last weekend (ahem) Laura and I attended Goodwood Revival. For those not familiar with it, Revival is a weekend long automotive equivalent of a historic reenactment event, set across the 30s to 60s, all hosted by Lord March at Goodwood, a mecca for motorsport and automative enthusiasts....
Jason San Francisco, California14 November 2015 Jason didn’t really like me taking photos of him taking photos, but I’m quite pleased with this one. Jason got some nice photos the same day, and is much better at getting them online than I am....
Rent a Jaguar F-Type V8 S and drive down CA 1 to Big Sur. It’s mostly by chance I happened to find myself doing this. I was looking to hire an MX-5 for the weekend, but Laura spotted the F-Type, and for a couple of days, it was actually not insanely priced. Here’s me at home: And out working in Massaro’s in Cambridge city center: Although I generally don’t like a noisy desktop image, I’ve been very much enjoying the context that Satellite Eyes gives you....
Over the years, for some unfathomable reason, I seem to have gathered a reputation as someone who drinks coffee, and nice coffee at that. One side effect of this is people often ask me to recommend coffee shops that might provide them with nice coffee. At the moment it seems a particularly good time to be trying to find good coffee out there – the standard of coffee shops seems to have shot up in the last couple of years (or, perhaps, I’ve only just noticed it)....
Last week Laura and I took a much needed break to the Lake District, staying near Buttermere, and spending the week having some nice walks, listening to sheep and cuckoos, meeting the feeding demands of red squirrels, and discovering our phones like to say “No service” a lot :) However, our cameras did work, so here’s some pictures from the week....
