I was looking at virtualisation software for work, and came across UTM, which both supports virtualisation and machine emulation via QEMU. I’ve not had much to explore, but it was nice that, with one tiny modification, I got my little x86 boot loader to run on my Apple Silicon based Mac, not having ran it on anything except Windows Hyper-V before.
