One of the nice things about the village we live in is that just around the corner lives an old style windmill, set in a little orchard. This was it this morning – clearly being camera shy :)

When we first moved in last year the windmill had the beams for sails, but no sails, but recently they’ve been fitted and occasionally you see it running. One day I’ll have to see if we can get a closer look.

(I suspect this photo would benefit from me reformatting my blog to allow larger pictures – perhaps I’ll need to fix that now I’ve got a better camera!)
