We Love The Iraqi Information Minister

Whilst I’m firmly against the war in Iraq, I can’t deny it has created anew superstar - the Iraqi Information Minister, Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf. His optimism (or perhaps blindness) was quite amazing. I assume he’ll be gone fromour screens now that the Americans have taken into Baghdad. I saw him the otherday tell journalists with a broad smile, just after the Americans’ first move into the city centre, that “No I am not scared and neither should you be!” Amazing.
