Tabascotastic

Occasionally you discover a product and wonder how on earth you survived so long without it. Now, I’d heard of Tabasco before, notably as Lister’s favourite addition to corn flakes, but never tried it. But I’m a bit of a chilli fiend, so it’s no surprise I got there in the end :) Tabasco is indeed fantastic stuff. Obviously not a substitute for real chillis in cooking, and I find their serving suggestion a little on the timid side (multiply by 4 and you’re getting into the right zone :), but to make existing meals a bit more zingy, it’s top. This does solve the problem with cooking for two when the other person doesn’t like chilli. The only problem is that it comes in such wee bottles. However, I noticed they have larger bottles at college, and perhaps even better I just noticed they do reasonable sized amounts on their web site :)
