So, to go with my new found Unreal Tournament addiction (the #playpen gang are getting quite frag-happy), last night I played poker for cash for the first time :) I’m no stranger to a game of poker - Huw and I got quite addicted to the TV show Late Night Poker (it’s in the so-bad-it’s-good bucket) and started playing, but never for money. Last night myself and some dudes from work had a poker evening at Richard’s place (Richard being my officemate). For my first time I didn’t do too bad - I went in with 4.50 and left with 11.65 - not bad for a first time. Still, I think that was down to luck rather than skill, and probably helped that I left before Richard took the rest of the pot in the last round :)
