Colloquy
I finally found a native IRC client for Mac OS X I can live with. Until now all the GUI ones sucked majorly, with clunky interfaces. I even got as far as starting to write my own it was bugging me so much. But thankfully the boys and girls behind Colloquy seem to have “got it” - an IRC client that seems at home on Mac OS X. It looks a lot like Adium, so that helps, and it’s got a rather neat AppleScript support, which has forced me to try and learn some AppleScript. Still, despite AS’s nice high level syntax the ones I’ve written end up invoking perl at some point ;)
