Not been blogging much due to RSI flaring up badly for the first time in a few years. Suspect I was coding and writing too much on the laptop, which isn’t good for me (I refuse to believe that it was Half Life ;). Anyway, I’m still trying not to type to much, and I’ve got the old IBM ViaVoice for my ibook now, so I’ll see how I get along with dictating my words to the mac :) Voice recognition software is not anywhere as well supported as it is on Windows (where Dragon Dictate seems to be universally praised), but my initial impression with ViaVoice is that it’s not bad. I’ll try and post a review in a few weeks once I’ve had time to train it properly (people I’ve asked think that process takes about two weeks of use).
