CSI, CSI: Miami, and 24

1 Mar 2003

Ah, you can’t beat well done, low brain power, crime drama. CSI and CSI: Miami are both very slick and expositiontastic. It’s all my fried PhD brain can cope with. Both are about 4 episodes in now, showing on Channel 5 in the UK, and are the only things I refuse to miss on TV. I’m totally hooked, what can I say? CSI: Miami is in its first series, so looks a little weak compared to CSI, but it’s getting there. I haven’t managed to full bond with the CSI: Miami cast yet either like I have with the CSI lot, despite Horatio looking a lot like this man, just older.

On the crime theme, I’ve just borrowed the 24 Season 1 boxed set, and watched the first two hours last night. I’d only intended on watching one, but I was hooked, and episode two was fantastic. I avoided it on the tele as I can’t guarantee I’ll be in to watch it, and I knew I’d get annoyed if I missed any, but now it’s safely on DVD :)
