Taking a wrong turn

I was looking up directions on multimap the other day to get to this workshop I’m going to next week, and the wonderful web site decided that rather than at the very first junction turn left, and proceed, it took me on a four odd mile detour to join the same road some half a mile down the road. Weird :) But at least it didn’t give me misdirections like the couple in the link below…
