Wow. The other day I mentioned to Andy that I wanted a bigger screen than my 7 year old 15" CRT, so he pointed me at the Cambridge Uni second hands mailing list. As luck would have it, now is the time of year when students are going back home, so there’s lots of good stuff going cheap. Anyway, I was totally fluky and picked up a Iiyama 17" flat CRT in excellent condition (a Vision Master Pro 410 if you want to know) for 20 quid! What a bargin! I’m now going to spend the evening just drooling over the extra screen real estate I have :)
