On thursday just gone a bunch of us from the lab went to the beer festival that was running all week. It was my first beer festival, and I recommend it if you’re a big beer, or especially real ale, fan. There were about 150 beers to chose from, though my favourite find of the festival wasn’t a real ale, but a Russian beer, called Baltika No. 8, which is a Russian Wheat Beer. Andy had a kangaroo steak, and we had some nice cheeses too. All in all, a pleasent way to spend an evening :)
