Surf Stix Carve Board
I had a shot of one of these the other day, and they’re great fun. It’s like a skateboard, but you use it for carving - that is simply going along and down hill with lots of turns. Unlike a skateboard it has very springy and flexible trucks, and is essentially another attempt to capture the dynamics of surfing or snowboarding on dry land. Anyway, they’re better for getting around town than a normal skateboard is (due to the bigger, softer wheels and more flexible trucks), and I think if I had the hundred and fifty quid to spare I’d consider getting one, but I don’t :)
Of course, the one linked below is cool, but at least it’s not as expensive as the one made by BMW. Though this would have been a cheaper option than getting my car fixed…
