The straight and narrow

12 Mar 2004

They’re building a new bridge along the cam from us (though I suspect we’ll have moved by the time it’s built). My point - why can’t they build straight bridges any more? There’s the Newcastle Millenium eye, and the new bridge they’re building down at Clydebank in Glasgow, all curved. I’m convinced this is one of those design fads that will seem very daft in a few years :)
