Well, someone finally parked something on mars :) Whilst hunting around I found these interesting movies of the technology used to get the NASA lander onto the surface of mars. The EDL one is particularly interesting (for someone like me with little real space knowledge - I imagine actual rocket scientists will find them a little dull :).
