Relative Values
Ah, what it is to be British, or perhaps even more accurately English. You get to find the farcical humour of the likes of Wodehouse and Coward amusing. Anyway, whilst it’s a bit clichetastic, I recommend Relative Values as a good example of the genre. Like most British period productions, it’s got bucketloads of good actors in it (e.g., Julie Andrews, Colin Firth, Steven Fry), and William Baldwin (please note careful use of grammar there). Actually, I usually find Colin Firth quite dull (unlike my office mate Greg, who thinks he’s quite the thing ;) but he’s got one of the best parts in this film.
