Life in general
Other things of note in my life right now… I had an interview today for a RA post in the department, which one assumes I have (given I’ve had mail giving me tasks since the interview despite not having a letter offering me the job ;). It does mean I’ve had to wear a suit today, and it’s been another muggy day. I don’t think I’ll make a habit of it.
This will hopefully cure my current financial flow problems, as I’m suffering a bit as I switch over from being paid in advance to being paid in arrears. It’s going to be a month of tightened belts I suspect. Anyway, the job should be a fun diversion, as I’ve been feeling a bit rudderless since handing in my dissertation.
On other fronts, one assumes I didn’t win anything at WWDC with my osx2x submission, as I’ve not heard anything by now (I think the winners were notified at the end of May). Oh well, no new shiny powerbook for me ;)
Hail To The Thief has to be one of my favourite albums. It’s been played almost constantly since I got it, and we get to look forward to it being released next week ;)
