A Better Tomorrow

After seeing The Killer again, I couldn’t resist getting A Better Tomorrow outthe video shop when I spotted it. A class film, which I hadn’t seen for ages. I got it out of an addiction to any film which features both the names “Chow Yun-Fat” and “John Woo” on the cover, but CYF’s characted is more a supporting role in this one. The film really focuses of two brothers, one a cop, the other a gangster. It’s a bullet fest, with a great scene in the first half with CYF getting revenge on a mob member that crossed him; class action. The only possible complaint is the music which is very much of its time (1986). Must see film though.
