On the way to St. Ives
I went to St. Ives yesterday with two tasks in mind, other than it was a nice day to be out an about. Firstly I went to an opticians to pick some new glasses – my old pair, which I must have got about 5 years ago, are a bit knackered. A new pair are picked and being prepared, so hopefully this process will go better than the hair cut process. Thanks to Laura for being the person to guide me through the frames selection process, which I hate.
The other task was to get some whisky. For this I followed Mort’s suggestion and visited Wadsworth Wines, which has to be the best place in East Anglia (that we’ve found thus far) for whisky – the web site claims 400, and there was a pretty good range on display. I walked away with a interesting Ardbeg. Definitely the place to go for whisky in future, other than Scotland…
