Many thanks to Huw for pointing me at Wired’s collection of motorized skateboards. Huw summed it up brilliantly: “Wheelman (#4) is cool and #5 is just an example of bad parenting.” :)

I’d love to try one. I found somewhere in the UK selling them (they cost £349), but I fear they’re not going to be road legal, and there’s almost certainly nowhere I could really use one around Cambridge – probably for the best :)
