More yonder
More bad pictures. Here’s me, the 996, and Loch Lomond, taken yesterday, after I took a ride up to The Green Welly Stop in Tyndrum, north of Loch Lomond. Amazingly good of my Dad to let me use his bike this week – I’ve managed to do 410 miles on it dotting around the lowlands and highlands. Certainly not the most comfortable bike to ride, but good fun, and it feels very performancetastic.
Going to miss both having a bike and just being 15 minutes from amazing landscapes. Still pondering getting the BMW. Another pro is that if the Ducati 907 does break down whilst on a trip, I’ll probably be looking to get back another way, whereas a new bike is less likely to leave me stranded even if it does break down. Of course, clearly my mindset is wrong, as all my friends seem to care about is the colours it comes it – blue and grey, but not red… ;)
