Moo

In the near future I’m going to a couple of events where it’d be useful to have some business cards to hand out. From what I gather regular business cards are expensive, and after my experience at Intel (where in my time there I had three sets of cards and not one of them came back correct from the printers) I didn’t really like the idea of handing my details over to someone else to process incorrectly.

However, the Internet, as ever, provides! I went to moo.com, which is designed for doing batches of small cards with details on one side and pictures from a flickr album on the other. It’s cheap, easy to use (a rare example of a good web site based on web 2.0 type ideas), and the results were correct!

Some half size business cards, that process me to be the Chief Technology Office of ndiyo.org

The cards are not proper card height, but I don’t mind – they have the important details on them (name, company, email), and they have a very good finish – they certainly feel professionally done. And at 100 cards for 10 quid, ideal for that startup budget :)
