Looking for zen
Yesterday I was admiring a matt black Ducati Monster Dark in town. The Monster is Ducati’s naked street bike, and the matt black finish is unusual for a bike, which typically have gloss or metallic finishes, so it really stands out. Today I learned to appreciate it for another reason. I wanted to check the water reservoir level on the 907, which has thus far resulted in this:
The reservoir is behind the fairing where the right front indicator is, and to get to that I need to remove the fairing in that section, but before I can remove that panel I’ve had to remove the front cowling and the rear fairing. The seat is off both to let me remove the rear cowling and get at the tool set that’s under the seat.
Oh well. At least I managed to reset the left indicator/mirror pod which had been held on by gaffer tape since I dropped it the other weekend.
