Today I stopped by the Ducati Glasgow store to see the new 1098s they have on display.

I managed to resist paying the deposit and waiting the required six months to receive one, but the store manager told me that he’d already shifted 35, which strikes me as a sign that the 1098 has done a lot to displace the 999 from people’s minds.

The really bad news is that I can’t have a test drive for another year, as you need two years on your license before they’ll let you out on it. Probably just as well :)
