We’ve been without heat for a the last week or so here, and today I had the fun of sitting next to a water pump for a couple of hours whilst the plumber cleaned out the system. This picture gives you a before and after idea:

And the manky pipe you see there isn’t from near any of the blockages, it was close to where the cold water enters the system! Now the house is warming up around me. Mmmmm.
