Bamboo scribbles
I got a Wacom Bamboo One off Amazon, which arrived today. I got this mostly to help when touching photos up in Aperture or Pixelmator, as normally I use a trackball, which isn’t ideal for such operations, and mice play up with my RSI.
You can see I’m not really cut out to be an artist…
Of course doodling is the great loss of the paperless office :)
It’ll be interesting to see if it’s useful for sketching. Like all good engineers I keep a log book of what I do, but I don’t store it on paper, I use a directory of text files for this, one per day. This makes it very easy to cut and paste things into, and more importantly easy to search. The one thing I miss though is the ability to quickly sketch things, so perhaps the Bamboo will help make that feasible.
