Winter Cloisters
The cloisters at my alma mater, the University of Glasgow, taken on a brief stop over a few years ago. Living in Cambridge, with its many old and fine college buildings, has in no way removed the love I have for the old main building at Glasgow.
This photo has sat unloved for a while, but it seemed a good photo to try channel a bit of what I’ve learned watching some of Professor Hines’ videos, and then seeing this recent post he did from Chicago. The photo was hand held, so is wide open which means it doesn’t get the tack-sharp look Hines does, but it was fun trying to get a similar feeling to the lighting. I can see now why he’s a professor and this University only made me a doctor :)
