Taken at the village Guy Fawkes night event: two youths watching the mesmerising fireworks display.

Credit to the camera here - this was hand held in low light, and the autofocus spotted the eye and hung on. I normally never use the camera’s tracking autofocus - I mostly shoot static scenes so I’m a fixed-centre-point kind of guy, but I’ve been making an effort to shoot more people and learn how to use the tracking autofocus, and once you learn to trust it, and appreciate when it works, it really is quite amazing, even on my older mode camera.
