my name is mwd: photos

I really like the stations on the Liverpool rail as it passes under the city, and I’ve photographed them before. They have a feel of that 60s/70s futuristic look, but have been looked after and aged well.

This was an attempt to do something a little different - Lyme Street station is the most linear of them an so perhaps less interesting than the others, but I wanted to add a sense of motion, so I set a longish shutter time and twisted the camera by hand to get rotational blurring. Quite pleased with how it turned out.
