my name is mwd: The waves at West Kirby

A view along a promenade along the sea front: sea to the right, houses to the left, walk way going into the distance in the middle. Along the left hand edge of the walkway/promade is a wall of concrete benches that are curved back and forth over the course of a few meters interval, and the shadow cast by the sun behing behind them looks like a line of waves.

The new sea defences at West Kirby nicely reflect the waves in the sun.
