The haar over Burnmouth
Another shot of the haar, this time down towards the Scottish boarder in Burnmouth, where we stopped for the night to break up our journey south.
We walked down the cliff and past the town to the bay you can see to the top of this photo, where there was a harbour. As we walked around the harbour, everything was quiet. Just as we were leaving we spotted a lone seal, which made its way around the harbour before heading back out to sea.
I thought haar was just a East Neuk term, but I’ve been informed that it’s also used down as far as teeside.
