A shot straight out of camera, a first for my Sony here: the sun setting over Hilbre Island as seen from West Kirby. It was a beautiful sunset, though we didn’t see the sun hit the horizon due to a bank of cloud out at sea. Still, was lovely view, and I’m glad I’m getting familiar enough with the Sony and Sigma combo to make this without edits.

The foreground isn’t actually the sea, but a marine lake: if you zoom in can just see a person walking around the lake’s sea wall.
