Whilst Laura was working from Moffat Field we arranged to go on a trip up to Point Reyes for Memorial Day weekend. It was super busy in places like this, but thankfully quite quiet overall (it seemed that Stinson Beach acted like a honeypot for most bay area folk heading north).
We’d been to Point Reyes before, and I really love that area as a more temperate version of the landscapes I grew up near. Plus Pop-Overs at the cafe in Point Reyes Station - that might be something to do with it too.
This picture isn’t that great in terms of composition (though I like the leading stairs), but I love the colours, which are straight out of camera using Fuji’s Classic Chrome film simulation. It’s got the hint of a bright sum above and the lovely blue/green water tones.
