Joe Noir
This is our friend Joe, taken at Boring conference in 2011.
I think the original scene here was far less moody, but this was the edit I made at the time and never posted, and I quite like it. I was also totally into adding frames to my pictures back then.
When this was taken I was doing my 365, and it seems for some reason I only posted one picture from that day, but there’s a bunch of fun pics that I’ll upload over the coming days from that conference, most of which are original edits from 2011, and a couple I’ll do now.
This was taken with a lensbaby, which was a fun lens that I could never really get to work for me. I suspect it does work better in portraits, and that’s not really a thing I do that much.
