my name is mwd: photos

It’s always a pleasant surprise when trawling my lightroom archive to find a picture that I’m happy with using no edits. This is made slightly easier thanks to the film simulations that are in fujifilm cameras. This here random shot of my coffee on the way to work that day. I love how the light is reflected differently in the wood, the ceramic, and the milk.

I actually tend to shoot my Fujifilm camera set to B&W in the view finder - I find it helps me concentrate on the composition more once I’ve decided to take the shot, even if I know it’ll be a colour photo later.
