my name is mwd: photos

I like this photo for two reasons: Laura’s always magical smile, and it’s taken in Glasgow’s West End where I spent the best part of ten years at the University, so will always be a little bit of home to me, even though it’s been a long time since I lived there now.

Today has been a day where no photo worked for me, and even this simple one I fought with trying to get the crop just right so that it didn’t have the person to the right in shot, but still left Laura central and tall.
