I’ve been having fun playing Halo 3 multiplayer online recently. Once of the nice things that appeals to the photographer in me is that you can go back and watch movies of your recent games and save both movies and stills from the game:

Useful for working out where you went wrong :) That’s in game graphics by the way, not post rendered stuff – here I’m exiting my aircraft after it suffered an unfortunate interaction with an enemy weapon. No, I don’t land on my feet ;) Bungie (Halo 3’s creators) run regular photo competitions on their website, and the standard of entry is really quite high.

There’s lots of fun stuff like this available on the Bungie website. You can get heat maps of where you killed and was killed in all the levels, what achievements you’ve managed etc. They’ve done a very nice job of integrating the XBox game with a web presence – though they really do need to learn about RSS feeds.
