Over time, despite the fact I have a degree in Software Engineering, I seem to have become a hardware engineer, writing VHDL a lot of the time. Today, for a brief moment, I got to write some C code again, it was very satisfying, even though it didn’t really do much. For a while, a couple of years back, I churned out quite a bit of Objective C, writing a lot of stuff for Mac OS X, and I kinda miss those days. I find my brain likes the way you write software more than the way you write hardware. This is why I work for a hardware company of course…
