my name is mwd: photos

A calm day on the marine lake at West Kirby giving a nice slightly diffused reflection. I tried this in black and white but I think the colour helps compensate for the lack of fidelity from my old camera here. I also like how light this has come out, capturing that odd weather you get in the UK where it is overcast but bright at the same time.

I discovered I still have the lens that I took this with, the Canon Thrifty Fifty, and have found I could buy an EOS 300 (as opposed to the EOS 300D that I used for this picture) for the price of a roll of film, so I look forward to taking a few shots with it and comparing them with the digital equivalents.
