The streets of West Kirby where my other half’s mum lives remind me a lot of Cleethorpse, which is another seaside town on the opposite coast. The two towns have a very different vibe, but quite similar housing stock and views of the sea.
Wales was lurking in the fog across the other end of the estuary, but is there if you zoom in.
