On the final leg of our trip we took the California Zephyr from Salt Lake City to Oakland. We got on the train very tired from a lot of driving and rushing to get where we needed, onto the train in the dark, and straight to bed. In the morning we awoke to a very ethereal Nevada desert. My pictures don’t quite capture how mystical the early morning mist looked, but here’s to trying.

A while ago I also posted another shot from on the train, which is still one of my favorite pictures I’ve ever taken.

This isn’t quite on the road Zack Huggins , but I hope you’ll let it count as the the last leg of our road trip - rail road perhaps? :)
