my name is mwd: photos

This is a corner of Waddesdon Manor, built in the later 1800s in the style of a French château. Most older buildings at National Trust sites are not my thing, but I did like this one, a combination of the colour and styling made it appeal.

I’m also not given to doing building photography, something others do much better. But given I liked this building I felt I should give it a shot. Rather than try capture the whole building I lent into more my own style of capturing details, and just went for the end turret here.
