Based in the midst of the beautiful Colorado National Monument, this is Upper Ute Canyon. Also known as echo canyon, as just off to the left of me is a 400ft high flat rock face that is 300 ft away, so it’s a great place to hear your echo somewhat delayed (though that flat rock face was a lot less interesting to photograph from this position :). The canyon doesn’t look that big in the picture until you look at the small path at the bottom - we’re actually quite high up here!
