Under the angel
To stand around the Angel of the North is to be part of a celebration of photography. We stopped on our route home from Scotland as it turns out there’s an EV charge point there, and so obviously I headed out with my camera to take a look. What surprised me was that there we so many people taking photos: couples taking photos of each other stood with their arms out in fromt of the sculpture with their phones, others taking selfies, others getting a holiday snap, and then a couple of people with “proper” cameras getting their arty shots. It really was a wonderful scene if you have any photography bone in your body.
